Project Lead

Opeyemi Oladimeji is a seasoned development practitioner, policy advocate, and social impact strategist with extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, governance, and youth development. He serves as the Project Lead of the Ogun Youth Agenda, where he provides overall direction and strategic oversight, ensuring that the initiative effectively engages young people, influences policy, and drives sustainable development outcomes across Ogun State.

Opeyemi’s career spans over a decade of advancing youth participation, community development, and institutional strengthening. He is the Executive Director of Future Builders Initiative (FBI), where he leads multi-stakeholder projects on governance, civic engagement, and capacity building. His expertise covers project design, resource mobilization, and results-based management, enabling him to deliver measurable impact and foster inclusive decision-making processes.

Academically, Opeyemi holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Ahmadu Bello University, a Master of Science in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution (Distinction), an LLM in Corporate Governance and Finance Law, and an LLB (Hons) from the National Open University of Nigeria. He is a dual PhD candidate of Peace and Conflict Studies at the Osun State University, and Policy and Strategic Studies at the University of Abuja.

He also earned an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from Lagos Business School, alongside specialized training in leadership and capacity development from organizations such as RNVi and YIAGA Africa.

Recognized as a 2024 Young Professional Immersion Fellow with the ECOWAS Commission, Opeyemi combines scholarly insight with practical field experience to influence youth-centered policies and strengthen governance systems. His work reflects a steadfast commitment to evidence-driven advocacy, community empowerment, and sustainable development, positioning him as a leading voice in shaping inclusive policies and impactful social innovations across Nigeria and West Africa.
