Research and Documentation Officer
Ifeoluwa Babawale is a policy advocate and nonprofit leader committed to advancing peace, environmental justice, and inclusive governance in Nigeria. He directs the Safer Space Initiative, an organization that combines research, advocacy, and community action to tackle issues such as climate adaptation, food security, pollution, and waste management—key drivers of conflict and insecurity in vulnerable communities.
With a background in peace studies and conflict resolution, Ifeoluwa brings a rare blend of academic rigor and grassroots experience to policy engagement. He has led multi-stakeholder dialogues, developed evidence-based policy briefs, and coordinated youth-driven campaigns that inform state and national responses to environmental conflict and public health risks.
His work centers on translating data and community insights into actionable policies, strengthening government–civil society partnerships, and ensuring that marginalized voices shape decisions on security governance and sustainable development. Through sustained advocacy and practical interventions, Ifeoluwa continues to build alliances that promote accountability, resilience, and equitable growth across Nigeria and West Africa.
